Trilogy Engagement Rings

A trilogy ring tells a story: three stones for past, present, and future. It's the most narrative-rich of all engagement ring styles, and one of the most flexible — the centre stone and side stones can use different shapes for an asymmetric, more bespoke look, or be matched for a classic symmetrical trilogy.

Stone combinations that work

The most popular trilogy combinations: round/round/round (the classic), oval/round/oval (a slim, elongated look), pear/round/pear (tips pointing toward the centre — romantic and elegant), heart/pear/heart (an unusual romantic choice — see our Lyra trilogy). Side stones are typically about 50% of the centre stone's carat weight, which keeps the centre clearly dominant.

Why trilogies suit re-purposed stones

If you've inherited two stones and want them combined into an engagement ring — or want to remodel a relative's old ring into something contemporary — a trilogy is the most natural setting. The three-stone layout means small inconsistencies between stones become deliberate features of the design rather than flaws.

Metals and bespoke options

Available in 9K, 18K white, yellow, and rose gold, and platinum. Speak to us about claw-setting variations (four-claw vs three-claw works differently with side stones), the height of the centre setting, and gallery details — all rendered in CAD before any metal is cut.
